Sunday School
Adult Sunday school classes meet on Sunday mornings at 9:00 and address a variety of topics. The Crusaders class, which meets in the Fellowship Hall, takes a thematic approach to scripture. The Connections/Koinonia class (room 122) uses “The Wired Word” to explore contemporary issues in thought provoking ways.   Maranatha fellowship is a community gathering for young adults aged 19 to 40 who have a desire to deepen their relationship to God.

Visitor Gatherings
These casual dinners offer an opportunity for visitors and new members to learn more about the congregation, the community, and the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). This is a good way to meet people, get involved, and consider membership at First Christian Church. These dinners will occur on a periodic basis.

Pastors’ Bible Study
On Wednesday afternoons at 1:00, one of the pastors leads a casual discussion and Bible study on the scriptures for the coming Sunday.

Prayer and Share
This group meets on the first Thursday of each month at 7:30 p.m. for a video lecture, Bible study, discussion and fellowship. Recent studies have included Bart Ehrman and Amy  Levine.

Christian Women and Men
Small groups of women and men meet monthly for study, fellowship, and prayer. These groups offer an opportunity for spiritual growth, enrichment, education, and creative ministry within the life of the church.

Common Ground
Geared toward adults in their twenties and thirties, this group meets occasionally for lunch after church, service projects, and other fellowship opportunities.
