The Crossroads
The Crossroads, our Sunday school program for children age 2 - 5th grade, is an innovative learning village. Children gather each Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. at the Meeting House for singing and storytelling, then leave with their group to attend one of several engaging workshops like Luke’s Lab, Joseph’s Amazing Technicolor Art Studio, Noah’s Ark-ade, or the Loaves and Fishes Café. A variety of media and learning styles are used to present the Bible story to engage children in fun and creative ways.
Youth Sunday School
Youth in grades 6 – 12 meet at 9:00 a.m. on Sundays in room 124 for study and discussion that connects scripture to every day life.
Junior Youth Fellowship
Older elementary school students (grades 3 - 5) gather monthly after the second service on the first Sunday of the month for games, crafts, Bible stories, service projects, and lots of fun! View current youth schedule.
Chi Rho and CYF Youth Groups
Youth in grades 6-12 meet twice monthly for Bible study, service projects, and fellowship. Schedule varies based on activities. View current youth schedule.
Children’s Church
Children of all ages are always welcome to stay in the sanctuary for worship. Children ages 3 through 2nd grade are invited to participate in Children’s Church, an age-appropriate worship experience offered after the Children’s Moment, early in the second service.
Carol Choir and Youth Choir
Carol Choir, for children 3rd grade and older, offers a musical worship opportunity following the anthem in the second service. Along with a youth choir for older youth, the Carol Choir provides music in worship periodically throughout the year.
Children’s Worship Center
At a children’s worship center outside our sanctuary, parents can pick up resources designed to help their children learn about worship. Children can borrow an activity bag with crayons, coloring sheets, and a children’s bulletin to use during the service.
Acolytes
Children and youth 3rd grade and older provide worship leadership by bringing the Light of God into the sanctuary each Sunday. Schedule will be determined at an acolyte training session after church on Sunday, Sept. 28.
Nursery
Our nursery is professionally staffed from 8:15 to 12:15 every Sunday morning, and an electronic paging system allows nursery attendants to be in easy contact with parents throughout the morning.
