We regularly worship together on Sunday mornings at 8:15 am and 10:00 am. The 8:15 service is a smaller service and a bit more casual. The 10:00 service is a larger, traditional service, which features the music of our adult, youth, and children's choirs. Our worship aims to be creative and relevant, while embracing the richness of our tradition.
Each season finds us embracing a theme which invokes the scriptures and challenges us to new ways of thinking. We celebrate the Lord's Supper every week, as we hold the Communion Table to be central to our life together. Our preaching strives to be thought-provoking and engaging. In addition to choral music and congregational singing, our service also offers time for communal and personal prayer.
Children are an important part of our worship life. Each service offers a special moment for children, and worship activity bags are available in the parlor to help children and adults worship together. On most Sundays, younger children are invited to Children's Church during the 10:00 service, and older children (grades 2-7) attend Carol Choir rehearsal. Our nursery is professionally staffed from 8:45 am to 11:45 pm every Sunday for our youngest children, and the glassed off parlor behind our sanctuary allows parents with babies to participate in the service.
Outside the church building, in the southest corner of the property, is our outdoor chapel. Wooden benches and a natural chancel, buttressed by woods and stream, greet us for special outdoor services and concerts and offer a quiet place for private prayer and meditation.
