Why is the payment period three years?
Three years is the normal pledge period for building projects and Capital Campaigns.
How do I pay my pledge?
You can make weekly, monthly, or annual gifts. See the back page of this brochure for various ways to give. Do what fits best with your household finances.
Can I start paying early?
Of course. In fact, the earlier you start, the more help you will be to the congregation.
Three years seems like a long time. Can I just make a cash gift?
Yes! A cash gift is helpful. But in estimating a cash gift, we hope you’ll make the amount of the gift comparable to a 36-month pledge.
How does this affect what I give right now in the Sunday offering?
A capital campaign is over-and-above your normal annual pledge. The general offering of the church pays for our ministerial leadership, grows our programs, helps us discover new members, and provides funding for our ongoing mission and outreach ministries.
What happens if I make a pledge and my financial situation changes?
A pledge is not a bill. Just contact the church to adjust your pledge.
