WELCOME!

We look forward to meeting you! We are a vital and service oriented congregation that strives to follow the teachings of Jesus and the prophets... to "seek justice, love kindness and walk humbly with God" (Micah 6:8). Join us for Christian Education, all ages, at 9 am and our traditionally oriented, joyfully expressed and thoughtfully engaging worship service at 10 AM. We have one of the finest organs (and organists) in the area and a magnificent choral program. We celebrate Communion every Sunday and children are offered a special message in worship, followed by Children's Church in their own chapel. A small group meets at 8:15 AM in our prayer chapel for prayer and communion. Following our 10 AM service there is plenty of time for coffee and conversation. During the week we are filled with activities, from Bible and book studies to Tai Chi and ESOL, choir practices and support groups. Stop by on Tuesday (Dec-March) or Thursday between 9 and 1 pm as we offer breakfast and lunch to the hungry of our community ~serving about 225 people/week. There is always space for volunteers!
We look forward to meeting you!
Blessings of Peace,
The congregation of First Christian Church, Reverend Kathleen Kline Moore, Senior Minister, Rev. Elizabeth Baird (Young Adult and Youth Minister), Rev. Richard Brooks (Minister of Pastoral Care and Healing), Phil Gilliland (Commissioned Minister of Community Life)
